Kresge Library Expansion

The Kresge Library – School of Medicine Expansion project at Oakland University included interior renovations on the first and second floors. .

First floor renovations included:

  • New paint and finishes
  • New partitions
  • Removal and replacement of existing lay-in ceilings in multiple areas
  • Acoustical improvements to study rooms
  • New millwork
  • Electrical, low voltage (data and phone), and HVAC improvements to accommodate new furniture and office layouts

Second floor renovations included:

  • Construction of a new conference room
  • Gypsum board and glass partitions with new lay-in ceiling and finishes
  • MEP improvements included new light fixtures, related HVAC, and AV components

DSP was hired to complete carpentry/interior work for the renovation.
